6th Year As Kelownas Best Photographer

WOW! Thank you to everyone that took the time to vote for Selina Photography as Kelowna's Best Photographer for a SIXTH YEAR!!!

I had won silver in 2020 when I was off on maternity leave, so this is my 7th year in a row placing in the top and that is a very surreal feeling.

I am so blessed to have the customers that I do because they truly support me in the most amazing ways. These awards mean a lot to me and I try not to ask too much from my community, but they really pulled through for me again this year.

This year was especially interesting because of the new law that banned Canadian news from being shared on social media platforms like Meta, which really had me second guessing my chances of winning, but even with that huge change to the contest, I WON THE GOLD!!!

I know there are a lot of business owners asking for things on social media, but my clients don't just tune me out, they listen, they reciprocate, and they validate my hard work. I don't have the words to be able to truly show my appreciation for supporting me.

I also want to give a huge shout out to all of the amazing business owners I know that also made it through to the voting round, or placed with medals at the end. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart and I know exactly how much people put into their businesses, so making it through to the voting round on top of hundreds, if not thousands, of other local businesses, is an accomplishment all on its own.
