Sydney and Brandon came from Alberta to have their wedding at the gorgeous Summerhill Winery in the hills above Kelowna. As the day started, the ladies got ready at an Airbnb on Water Street and the boys got ready at the nearby Holiday Inn. As the limo picked everyone up, the thunderstorms threatened the day, but stayed away long enough for the ceremony to go off without a hitch. But within moments of the ceremony ending, right as we finished up with the family headshots, lightening started to strike above the nearby Okanagan Lake.
We hurried off to a nearby location with the limo to get as many wedding party photos as possible before the rain started to fall. That turned out to be no minutes at all so we made the best of it with our umbrellas and the rain passed quickly enough for us to get more photos once we returned to the winery. These two danced the night away with their loved ones and that rain really did make their wedding knot even harder to un do because these two will be together forever.
