Did you know that VHS tapes degrade at 10-20% over 10-25 years?

I recently went through all of my dad's home videos and photos for his celebration of life, and he documented EVERYTHING! I transferred dozens and dozens of VHS tapes that contained all the details of our childhood, many moments long forgotten. It was emotional to hear so many voices and see so many faces that are no longer with us. I was astounded to find out that VHS tapes are degrading to unsalvageable points because of how long ago we started using them. Our early years are being lost to the thief of time. This made me realize the importance of duplicating these memories onto digital format. During the process, I had several people tell me about memories that they had locked away on VHS format because they didn't have a VHS player anymore and how much they'd love to be able to access those again. That's why I've decided I am adding this as a service for my clients. I can transfer DVD's, VHS, and Mini DV tapes, $20 each, and files are delivered securely using Google Drive.
